Oh well, I just learned that mysql created those files for each table in order to speed up things or something…

They are inside /var/lib/mysql/ but definitely related to iThemes. Only the websites with the iThemes plugin have them.
They seem binary files as I cannot see what’s inside.

Is a fix foreseen? Can we have a ETA, please?

I already did that before. However, I only copied the .po file. I tried adding the .mo file and now it works. I guess I wasn’t aware of that.

The site language is set to French and that’s the only language; there’s no multilingual plugin. To my understanding it should just use the current language file without any further intervention, am I right?

I guess you mean wpsl-fr_FR.po (underscore). No, it did not fix it.

i have disabled all the other plugins and the one that fixed it was by disabling the fancybox.
