I really don’t like this change. It’s not clear at all to the user that they can use their OpenId, and they might (for that reason) decide not to comment at all! What’s more, I see no benefit to this scheme, as you’ll have already entered your info on the page (Name, e-mail) by the time you enter your OpenId, and you aren’t even forced to authenticate with your OpenId server. Why is the plugin built this way?
