I am having exactly the same problem. Why is Notepad a bad choice?

Mind you I will try a different txt editor when I get home and I hope you are right about this !!!

I knew about this problem and tried to fix it through Options/General but all my attempts to save the change to the URI went in vain. WordPress just insists on returning 3 slashes!!

Returing to my original enquiry could you just check my website and advise why my header is refusing to show up.

By the way have succesfully uploaded an image into one of my test posts but still no luck with the header. The image for the header is in the same folder as the image uploaded for the post i.e. wp-content.
Please check and let me know what I should do.
