I tried the Disconnect Webhooks numerous times yesterday without success. Did the same this morning and it disconnected and the PayPal button finally re-appeared. Looks like some odd caching issue somewhere. Thanks

No I don’t used Cloudfare. The hosting is with https://www.uk2.net/ here in the UK. https://www.uk2.net/web-hosting/

I have another site, with a second account with UK2 which also uses WP Optmise. The plugin here is 2 versions earlier and the same issue occurs there as well.

It’s not a show stopper for me. I routinely activate/deactivate those plugins I use infrequently.

I’ve added that, and the webp text has disappeared from the Settings.

But it still crashes but with no stack trace.

I’ve never enabled “Automatically compress newly-added images” nor for any manual compressions but I do notice that on the “Compress Image” settings…

…is displayed and which would then explain the failure to find the function.

There were 2 webp images on the site. I’ve replaced them with jpg’s, but still crashes and I don’t get a stack trace now.

An update and a possible explanation for what’s happening.

I’ve been checking the ‘View Email Summary Example’ and running a ‘wp_mail_smtp_summary_report_email’.

Both show…

Mon Oct 31- Total 479 Last Week 0 (the previous scheduled Monday email)
Thu Nov 3 – Total 485 Last week 6
Sun Nov 6 – Total 487 Last week 8
but at 9am today…
Mon Nov 7 – Total 495 Last week 0 (that’s not right)

I sent a few emails to myself and at 10am reported

Total 499 Last week 4

finally the scheduled Monday weekly email reports

Total 503 Last week 8

It looks like the summary always shows Total at that time, which is correct. For the Last Week figure it’s always comparing the Total now with the Total at most recent end Sunday/start Monday. So only about 16 hours worth.

So wrongly 503-495=8 rather than 7 days before 503-479=24.

Unless wp_mail sends email between 00:01 and now on Monday, Last Week is always 0. Which is what I usually see.

If the weekly summary was sent on Sunday at 23:59(?) or it used the previous Sunday Total all would be correct and make sense.

But I can ignore that and just note the Total. I can do some simple mental arithmetic to work out the correct Last Week number!

Thanks for that reply. I’ve done some more investigation.

Monday last weeks email shows – Total:463 LastWeek:0
Monday this weeks email shows – Total:479 LastWeek:0 (I did receive some email last week)

Today the ‘View Email Summary Example’ shows Total:480 LastWeek:1 (That looks correct)

I’ve just sent a few emails to myself now and then forced wp_mail_smtp_summary_report_email to run.

That email reports Total:485 LastWeek:6 (That looks correct as well)

Before I start to delve into debugging (that Total figure is always correct) I’ll await the next scheduled run of summary report to run as normal and see what I get.

I’ll update the ticket when I have something concrete.
