@imagely – No I reactivated each plugin one at a time testing the site each time (logging in and out to test) and the first time it reappeared is as soon as the NextGen plugin was activated.

Sorry found it! Had to import all of the parent css to dreamweaver and go line by line trial and error but I found it!
But incase anyone is looking for a solution, add your changes to Custom CSS

    background: #333;
    border-top: 6px solid #F33F3F;
    border-bottom: 1px solid #111;
    padding: 15px 10px;
}

You have to change #333 to #what-ever-color-you-want

I’m sorry for the delay in responding. I disabled all of the other plugins and it doesn’t change the home page (Still no description, just the list of #’s) Tried it in Twenty Twelve still same issue. I had to try all of your suggestions at scheduled times, since it’s my clients busy booking season and they want the site to look a certain way during the day.

I think it may have been the lack of any new events in the events calendar. My client has (since posting this question) added their dates in for the calender year and now it’s showing. Sorry, for the trouble.

Not sure what I did but it seems to have fixed itself, maybe it was just updating the description after updating it. Not sure.

Thanks Alex. Got it ?? is there a way to change “Latest Projects” on the front page to something else? I’ve looked through every php file and the css but can’t find where it is.

Can you tell us where to fix this in the template? I love the template but it gives a bad look to my clients site.

Did you link to the album in Manage Gallery> Parent Link to:
an then save. Then make sure you Create the page (side right) under parent. Not sure if that helps
