I found out today, that if you keep calling Godaddy, you will eventually find someone in support who is willing and capable of helping you. The key is knowing the right questions to ask.

So, there was a problem with the WP_Options folder in MyPHP. On the second page, there is a line called Upload_Path. The Option Value should contain “WP_Content/Uploads/” or yours might be blank. After you have already tried to change this in your wordpress dashboard: Settings/Media without any success, try deleting the file path in the PHP. Then save and try to upload, it worked for me. So my upload path in the PHP is now blank. Now when I go back into my Media Settings, it does not give me any options where to store the media it only shows the check box option to “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders” and that box is unchecked at the moment.

So for now, this topic is resolved.
