In reply to: Installation “hangs” in step 2I resolved the step 2 hanging issue on my Windows 2000 Server, IIS5 installation by following these three steps:
1. Ensure sendmail is enabled in php.ini
2. Ensure sendmail is configured to the correct e-mail address and SMTP server name
3. Ensure that the correct SMTP port is open on your firewall (usually 25, but could be something different if your ISP is blocking 25).I did these steps and everything magically started working!

In reply to: Time zone refuses to changeI had the same issue. Is there a bug report filed for this? What other info is missing from the options table? On earlier versions, there are 79 records in the options table, but with 1.5.2, there are only 74. So, it seems we are missing the gmt_offset and 4 others.

In reply to: I need Central time as default timeI just installed 1.5.2 on a new web site and for some reason, I can’t put in the time difference. I am east coast USA and when I put in -5 and click the update options button, the time difference field comes back blank. When I then make a posting, it is time-stamped as UTC.
I looked in the options table to update the record manually, but don’t see any time difference field. I’ve noticed that on another domain’s installation of WP that had been upgraded from 1.5.1.3 to 1.5.2, my options table has 79 records but in this new, virgin installation of 1.5.2, I only have 74 records. What’s up with that?Forum: Fixing WordPress
