Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Media import failedHi
Answer – no.
The staging page is my local computer I use MAMP to initially build the website. I downloaded wordpress and the theme then I can see how a theme looks before putting on the live site that I have with my domain provider.I worked out that I can import the images to another live website that I have with my current domain provider.
How do I change the domain of my staging site that I am building on my local pc. Is that something I need to change in one of the wordpress core files? I don’t think MAMP has options to change domains or DNS’s.

I have just sent the log to the site you provided.

In reply to: [Twenty Nineteen] Found a bug in Twenty nineteenNo it didn’t make any difference. when I changed the view in IE the picture still zooms in or out.
And I notice another issue.
This may not be a bug. But the padding around the menu bar at the top displays differently in IE than it does in firefox.I have used siteorigin to adjust the padding, but its not responsive to IE and you may have noticed that there is more blue menu strip at the left and right sides of the menu bar.
I just had a look at your screen shot of it in edge and you can see how the blue menu strip has more blue space between the left and right word at the edge of each side of the menu.I will have a look at the links you sent. But I might have to try a different template.

In reply to: [Modular Lite] Call to action button not workingOk saw that, thank you.
The hosting company 1st domains don’t know how to handle that, that is part of the problem
I tried putting in a support request and they think the site is hosted by another company! when I am paying them to have the website hosted by them.I will try that
I ran ssllabs and get a certificate name mismatch
I will try and contact 1st domains.
If no luck I will try the redirect as you suggested

There is still an issue, and I still get the error.
It was working ok last night.
I cleared the caches on all browsers
In IE I get error “there’s a problem with this websites security cert”.
And it seems to be working on Firefox
I do not get the error on chrome.
All browsers are uptodate
There is another wordpress site – someone elses
https://www.businesscrisis.co.nz
that website does not give any errors in any browser.
So I still have a certificate issue somewhere.
I contacted 1st domains and they reckon they cannot see any issue
But there is still a certificate issue. I can access all other https websites without any cert error.
I also tried https://www.paulsheehanca.co.nz on another pc with another provider and on firefox I get SSL_error_bad_cert_domain in Firefox and in IE I get error code DLG_Flags_sec_cert_cn_invalid
I can view all other peoples https websites without issue
On a windows 10 pc with firefox I get a warning potential security risk ahead, only on the paulsheehan website.
So, no the problem is still not fixed.I think I just got it working.
I tried again and disabled and re-enabled the really simple ssl plugin and I think its actually worked. I think
