Fetch schedule. It’s essentially the same as caching, because once it’s fetched, you’re grabbing it from your own db instead of from each feed.

The problem is that every time I visit my main page, it is fetching the content all over again (from the feeds themselves so the loading time si still 30 seconds+ long), resulting in doubles and triples in the shortcode items.

Found another bug… when the caching function is checked, it is still importing the feeds every time you load the page and then adding them the the list.

I checked excerpt_functions, and the function is definitely there, but the option is missing in options.php

On the evo site, I uploaded those files on top of 2.2.7.x, so the only thing I can think of is that maybe there is something stuck somewhere?

Well, setting it 20 – 1000, none seems to make a difference. I have triple checked that the files have been updated on the server. :-/

Nope, I’ve had it pegged on 20 for a while now. Hmm, only thing I can think of is that maybe one of those files didn’t have your latest code changes in it?
