under plugin settings, i noticed this warning:
FloatBox Javascript isn’t copied to the plugin directory. See installation instructions for further details
or try the new download option: Download floatbox(.js) from randomous.com
after downloading the file, everything works again
sorry to waste anyone’s time! i guess after upgrading i forgot to activate it from settings panel, although i could have sworn i checked to see if the plugin was functional.
