i get the same. did anyone find a solution to this?

mine inserts a 150×150 image. no idea wh but i cant reduce it so the toolbar takes up half the page.

any idea how i can fix this?

@hammy, i had a nightmare with this a while ago, now i’ve worked out how to muddle through and so here’s a guide that’s just about working for me.

it takes about 5 times as long as it should and i occasionally forget to copy content before updating, but it is possible to use this plugin with the bug.. although if you have an alternative i’d suggest using it – unfortunately i built my site around this and would lose all my pages if i did.

1. DO NOT TOUCH the preview button, that breaks everything but you wont realise until you try to save.
2. always watch and wait until the page has finished loading before doing anything. if you suspect it’s playing games then refresh it before adding anything or updating again.
3. dont have the page you are editing open in a different tab.. i try to have no other tabs running my site. i dont know why but it seems to cause issues sometimes.
4. when you update and blocks have moved themselves to the top, left field it has not saved your work. i refresh the page, wait for it to finish loading, and then move them page and update.
5. copy/paste everything you write into a word doc before updating (the html is more accurate).
6. if you use tinymce and the buttons are not at the top of the page then something has gone wrong and it will wipe your work. (i’m not sure what this is, but it only happens in pagebuilder).
7. oh and if you can set up templates for making new pages and not move things around often that helps a lot.

hi greg, i tried deactivating all other plugins and rolling back to WP 3.7.1. i have got pages posting, but 2 out of 3 times it wipes my content. the only thing i haven’t tried is changing the theme, but that is because i just finished a long move to it after my last theme wouldn’t work with buddypress. the theme is cyber chimps free theme. I’ve posted some javasrcript errors i see in console in the support section.

thanks, i do get some messages but i wouldnt be able to understand them.

the problem is that when i click save it wipes the content on the page, but i’m getting good at copying my work to clipboard before saving, and the problem happens less when i dont have any other pages from my site open in the browser, particularly the preview one.

no caching mechanism.

all of them.

i eventually solved it by going back to WP 3.7.1 – where it was still broken, and then going back to PB 1.4.1.

that is the most recent combination that appears to work with no bugs

this is killing me, i’ve got back to 1.3.10 and the other issues are fixed but i cant add any widgets. i made a big mistake building all my pages with this plugin as i now cant edit any of them or add new ones – and my deadline for launch is tomorrow!

1.4.1 and 1.4.3 have similar issues. i think the latest update of wordpress has conflicted with some of pagebuilders stable code.

can i please have a download link to roll back to the last stable version. i think i was using 1.4.3 or 1.4.2 before

i have the same problem. when i click update it wipes anything i’ve added to widgets. i updated to 1.4.5 and now to 1.4.6 and it still happens.

my site is: focallocal.org and i have none of the same plugins as gottlike, but a few the same as mechx1. i’m running the latest release of wordpress.

i have the same issue with 1.4.5. if i click save it either hangs and keeps saving for eternity – or says its saved but when i look for the page it is blank like i havent typed anything at all. all revisions and drafts are also blank.
