Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Image is not exchangedI had the same issue, even though I have no caching plugins. It turns out my host has supercacher running automatically on all my wordpress installations. Now, when I am doing work on the site, I just disable the supercacher for that site until I am done, then turn it back on. I have to go to my host’s CPanel to do this and can’t be done through WP admin dashboard.
It also helps to clear the browser cache if not updating content, but I found it was the host’s caching on the backend that was my main issue.
Header and Footer templates shouldn’t be supported with the free version. If you want to remain in free version, you can just install a header + footer plugin or use the theme’s settings for the header and footer.
This plugin might be a good start to try out. I haven’t used it but it looks to allow you to create headers and footers with elementor templates without the pro version.
Yes, same host, Siteground. What happened for me is siteground offers an option to install the classic editor before the wordpress installation in done, so it works seamlessly in the background I think. For my wordpress duplicate site I used to switch the domain name, this function for classic editor might have been left out because the duplicate was done on a wordpress level and not siteground level? I am only guessing here, as I am relatively new to wordpress, but it’s the only logical reasoning I can think of why I have different results for the 7 sites I have hosted on Siteground right now.
Either way, classic editor was the missing piece. It could also be that wordpress 5.4 upgraded their page editor and forced it by default?

In reply to: EXIT TO DASHBOARD from Elementor editing only goes to WordPressIf you are still having an issue even after trying the above, also make sure to set the new URL in Elementor > Tools > Replace URL. In case the migration tool didn’t change the URL automatically.

In reply to: EXIT TO DASHBOARD from Elementor editing only goes to WordPressI ran into the same issue and found your post when searching for an answer. After a couple hours of wondering why one of my WP sites was working fine, and another wasn’t this solved it for me. Try installing the Classic Editor Plugin:
Once active, it should now go back to the wordpress dashboard without having to click twice.

You can also just hit the browser back button to get back to the list of site pages, assuming the changes have been published.
