  • Hi Xnau,

Just to inform, I had the same problem as pjkeeler and JerMiller posted above. I didn’t update the plugin for a while, and the code that was in place [pdb_search sort=true] suddenly stopped working. Now I changed it to the code you proposed in the post above, and it works again. The code I initially had in place worked like a charm before. I don’t know what changed exactly, but something made it stop working. Maybe this info solves the same issue experienced by others.

Wonderful, gonna try this. I’ll share the relevant code or info when I succeeded, in order for others to use it as well.

    Thanks!

    Xnau,

I’d like to inform you about the solution: the “Strict Dates’ feature indeed solved the issue. Still don’t know why it moved the dated, but this is a fix that works around the issue. Thanks for the suggestion! Will make a donation today because of the great work your doing. Thanks for your quick support.

A bit of additional info: when I add a date in a record (backend WP) that didn’t have one before, than it’s impossible to delete the date afterwards, so it remains in the field, even when deleting and ‘applying’ the changes. I’ll just continue with trial/error to try to solve it..

Nope it’s not enabled. Hmm, it’s weird. Especially the fact that everytime I click ‘apply’ to save changes in a record (even if I didn’t change any field), the date goes from May 1, 2015 to April 30, 2015. A second click on ‘apply’ means April 29, 2015, etc. Do you have any ideas left? ??

    Hi Xnau,

The date format is: April 10, 2015

And in case helpful, some other info related to time/date settings in WP:

    – Amsterdam timezone (I changed this: it was another timezone before, which I don’t recall)

    – Time format: 8:17 am (no capitals)

    – weeks start on Monday

    – Other info provided by WP related to the timezone:

    UTC time is 2015-04-10 6:17:08
    Local time is 2015-04-10 8:17:08
Choose a city in the same timezone as you.

This timezone is currently in daylight saving time.
Standard time begins on: October 25, 2015 3:00 am.

    Appreciate your help!

    Thanks again for the reply!

I am sorry to say that this does not help. I have no experience with this so far, so I have no clue what a child theme and the skeleton.css are. Can you please explain better what you mean? Where do I change what exactly? And where to find the files that are needed?

Thanks again. Hope you can still help!

    Hi there,

First, thanks for the quick reply. I must note that’s I’m not experienced with coding at all, so I would like to ask for a bit more specific advice.

I found the custom css panel (I’m using WP 4.1) through appearance > editor. Then on the right side of the screen I see many templates (e.g. 404 template, comments, footer, etc.). All the way at the bottom I see styles and the general stylesheet.css is clickable.

For the page-width, you wrote about the css grid. In which of these abovementioned pages can I change the css grid? I searched for grid, but only found a description containing the word ‘grid’ in the stylesheet.

For the front color and size: where do I need to add this? And do I need to copy it exactly as you wrote it (I don’t want to screw up the file, although I made a backup)?

    Looking forward for your reply.
