For instance: I have set GMail to “Always display external images”, but those from MailPoet newsletter are not shown anyway.
In GMail settings I am reading: “Note: If Gmail thinks a sender or message is suspicious, you won’t see images automatically. Instead, you’ll be asked if you want to see the image.”

So, are MailPoet’s newsletter considered “suspicious”?

I definitely can’t use this plugin if I cannot show images to users…

How did you do? I do not have hotlinking enabled, but still users don’t get images.

Hi, thanks for answering.
I have tested it in GMail, Thunderbird and ProtonMail. All of them do not display the images (not background, but featured images), but they show a request for the user to authorize image displaying from the recipient. But the recipient is the same I was using with tho old product, so it should already be authorized!

Not using Cloudflare. The server is on an hosting provider (Aruba Italy). No SVG images, just jpg.

I am using your sending method.

I confirm the plugin is working, and many sites are currently using PHP 7.4 and WP 5.7.2.

I suggest you to enable debug in WordPress or to have a look at your server’s log, to gather some more information. It could also be possible that another plugin is interfering.

I will keep it in the list for the next update.

I have just checked Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order plugin. It is fully maintained (last mod: 4 days ago) and it has more the 500,000 installations.

Maybe you have some other plugin which is interfering with it. I am using successfully that plugin for 4 years on 3 websites without problems.
Anyway, I am glad you fixed!

I don’t know how are you playing around with the Categories ID, but I confirm that ordering the Category with that plugin, you can change the listing order.

the order of Category listing is NOT based on Category Name, but on Category ID order. You can easily install a plugin which will allow you change the category order (i.e: Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order) and simply drag and drop Categories in the admin site like you want. You don’t need to put numbers in front.

I am glad you appreciate the plugin, but I’m afraid I cannot list the Posts in alphabetically order as it will require a specific customization of the code, that will reflect on all current users.

I believe your problem is in the assignment of the Category to the post. Posts are NOT duplicated in base category and in sub category (see this example: https://www.atopon.it/indice-degli-articoli/ ).
If you exclude base category, you will exclude also all children.
