In reply to: Website downThanks for responding! I can get into the Ubunto/Bitnami SSH screen. Is there a way to rename the plugin folder from there? (Remember, neophyte. ?? )

In reply to: Update PHP on AWS LightsailI appreciate your response. Being on a limited budget I’m on the Amazon Basic support plan which means No Support! I did do a database backup.
I’m disappointed that Amazon does not offer a reasonably easy way to update PHP. It seems to be working as is so I guess I’ll leave it alone.

In reply to: Site went wonky? Pages TrashedHello Jackie, and thank you for your reply.
I changed my passwords and did some “hardening” just in case it was a hack. I admit I’m new to all of this but I’m having a hard time imagining how I could have done this to myself.
I am aware that the site is still in the demo mode. I’m very close to going live.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Short Codes for Category DisplayThanks for your response. And, this was one of the articles I was using for reference. I have tried all of these shortcodes with these results.
[product_categories number=”0″ parent=”0″] – Displays all top level categories
[product_categories] – Displays all categories
[product_categories category=“category_slug”] – Displays all categories
[product_category] – Does Nothing
[product_category category=“category_slug”] – Displays ALLPRODUCTS within the category
[product_category category=“category_slug1, category_slug2”] – Displays all PRODUCTS within both categories.
[product_category category=“category_slug1, category_slug2”] – Displays all categories.For reference, I only have 3 top-level categories and I want to display just 2 of them.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Short Codes for Category DisplayI tried this and it displays the products within the category, not the categories themselves.
Thanks for your attention.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Weight Based Shipping] I have a weight problemThanks. I was expecting too much, but I think if I set the per print weight to 5 Oz it will be a suitable workaround.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Weight Based Shipping] I have a weight problemAfter additional review, I realize that it’s not adding in the packaging weight. If I set the qty to 8 (8×2=16) it switches to weight based.
What am I doing wrong so that it does not include the package weight?
Thanks
Thanks so much for your help.

In reply to: Links not working as expectedThanks James! You lead me down the right path. It turned out to be a Safari Extension called “Stop the Madness”. It was a bit tedious finding it through elimination, but it’s gone now.
Thanks again.
