I appreciate your response. Being on a limited budget I’m on the Amazon Basic support plan which means No Support! I did do a database backup.

I’m disappointed that Amazon does not offer a reasonably easy way to update PHP. It seems to be working as is so I guess I’ll leave it alone.

I changed my passwords and did some “hardening” just in case it was a hack. I admit I’m new to all of this but I’m having a hard time imagining how I could have done this to myself.

I am aware that the site is still in the demo mode. I’m very close to going live.

Thanks for your response. And, this was one of the articles I was using for reference. I have tried all of these shortcodes with these results.

[product_categories number=”0″ parent=”0″] – Displays all top level categories
[product_categories] – Displays all categories
[product_categories category=“category_slug”] – Displays all categories
[product_category] – Does Nothing
[product_category category=“category_slug”] – Displays ALLPRODUCTS within the category
[product_category category=“category_slug1, category_slug2”] – Displays all PRODUCTS within both categories.
[product_category category=“category_slug1, category_slug2”] – Displays all categories.

For reference, I only have 3 top-level categories and I want to display just 2 of them.

I tried this and it displays the products within the category, not the categories themselves.

After additional review, I realize that it’s not adding in the packaging weight. If I set the qty to 8 (8×2=16) it switches to weight based.

What am I doing wrong so that it does not include the package weight?

Thanks James! You lead me down the right path. It turned out to be a Safari Extension called “Stop the Madness”. It was a bit tedious finding it through elimination, but it’s gone now.
