In reply to: [Duplicate Post] Issues in Multisite copying anything past categoriesNo page builder. Just custom coded plugin to create two custom taxonomies. Core posts, with block editor content and some ACF fields associated as meta.
I have turned off all plugins and reverted to a core wordpress theme in my local dev and it still happens the same way, which I want to note disables the custom taxonomies. Either way the tags copy over, with the same number of tags but not the correct tags. Which has me thinking it’s just matching ID’s rather than checking to see if the tags exist already and if not creating them. after tags is where it seems to fail which is why none of the custom tax items or featured image is copied over. That’s my guess anyway.
Some quick stats, two the sites in the multisite instance have over 50,000 tags in total.

Not yet no. I did some testing and it’s further complicated the issue. The new version supplies better feedback, duplicates and file format issues. However the same file works in the dev copy still but not in the live site, it doesn’t like the file format in the live site. Thought it might be an encoding issue but the dev site is a direct copy.
Thank you. In the copied website all the same plugins were installed and active. I’ll keep at it, I know the plugin works, it’s the best I’ve found for this task.
I still doesn’t work. I stripped the CSV down to the minimum of just post title and content. I cloned the site that it’s not working on to another folder on the same domain and tried it there. It works fine import correctly in the copy but not on the main site still. I though it was a plugin conflict with another but there are no errors no nothing. everthing works fine on the live site, but it just returns that it has imported (0) posts.
