You can just remove the file and the .user… file and all of this is disabled. I don’t see the issue, how else do you want protection in front of wordpress calls ? If you even have the choice of activating this or not and deactiviation is clearly mentioned howto do it. Please do not underrate decent software, developers put a lot of effort to give free tools to the community, think about that.
I do not understand, using it for quite some time even on multisite installations and never had any issues with it.

In reply to: Insert Blog ID on multisiteAccording to other posts, that’s the problem, you cannot use wildcards or regex on dir names, only on filenames, so it doesn’t work.
However I didn’t find a post with an example of multisite and dynamic numbering.Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Insert Blog ID on multisiteThank you very much Mika, but I wasn’t referring to code but actually the custom files pane in the w3tc configuration page. This allows you to include directories with custom files to sync.
I need to have a variable there. If you look at W3TC CDN settings, you will find the custom files text box with underneath stated <customblog>,but that doesn’t work.Hi Cais,
Thx for the quick response. I don’t see any errors in the log or conflicts.
The problem lies in the selection of the featured image, meaning the selection dialog that is displayed after you click the “insert next gen featured image link”. Not all the images in the gallery are shown there. They do appear in the gallery, but not in this dialog, although they have a thumbnail on disk.
The issues is persistent, meaning, if it shows the image, it’s always there, if it’s not shown, it never appears. The only way to make it appear in the selection, it to delete it in the gallery and upload it again. Then it is mostly available and stays available.
If you can select the image, all the rest works as expected.
Hope this helps claryfying.Filip.
