In reply to: Visual Editor Not Working – Alternative SolutionThanks much, man! Unfortunately no dice though – still no luck with getting the visual editor to show! If I find any other solution, I’ll be sure to update this comment.

In reply to: Visual Editor Not Working – Alternative SolutionHi Ronnie!
Sorry if this a silly question, but can you tell me exactly which .htaccess file needs to be modified? I seem to have a few of them! Which folder is what I’m asking I guess! I would certainly love to see my visual editor working again!
Thank you, and again, sorry if it sounds like a silly question!

In reply to: [Really Simple CAPTCHA] Really Simple Questions for Really Simple CAPTCHAWow Diana!
such a detailed and great note! And, as they say, a picture is indeed worth a thousand words …
Now don’t I feel like the idiot lol, I was looking for all things complicated … in the plugin’s .php file etc., when all I had to do is edit that right in the contact 7 screen!
Thanks so much for your time, it works like a charm now ?? If you ever need anything that I can help with, feel free to “contact” me! Bookmarked your page and will peruse as soon as I get a few minutes!

In reply to: [Really Simple CAPTCHA] Really Simple Questions for Really Simple CAPTCHAHi Diana!
Exactly, that’s what I’m after! So the question is, where in the contact form are you are you inputing that text …
“Please copy the letters into the box before you hit Send – this is fantastic for stopping spam and we really appreciate you helping!”
… to get it to show up just before the captcha code? Do tell haha!

In reply to: [Really Simple CAPTCHA] Really Simple Questions for Really Simple CAPTCHAHi Diana! So nice of you to help!
Yes, Contact 7 form.
Latest version of WP.
Theme is “Fluxus”And, I don’t understand what you mean “where in the dashboard I’m trying to see the words” – What I’m saying is that at the bottom of my actual contact page after the form, the captcha code to input shows up fine, but only the 4 character code, without the words “input code here”. Hope that make sense!
My page is currently being constructed, and not open to the public, but opening it up for a while now incase you can have a look!

In reply to: [Really Simple CAPTCHA] Really Simple Questions for Really Simple CAPTCHAHello! I wonder if someone here can help me!?
I cannot get the instruction words “Input code here” to display! The actual captcha “code” to enter shows up fine and if sending a message and using it, it all works great. Just can’t seem to get the instruction words to show up!
Thoughts? Thanks!
Hi again Andrew,
Ok, I found that installing this plugin is actually causing the problem!! Remember I said that I had a similar plugin that works! Well when I deactivated digg digg, deleted it, and re-activated that one – it didn’t work either! So after trying in vain to fix things, I did a complete restore of my site and the other plugin came back to working state. So, I thought digg digg would now also work, well after re-downloading and activating it, I am back to the same problem with BOTH the plugins!
It’s messing with the jquery somehow ..
Anyway just wanted to let you, and others, know in case it helps solve the problem!
Thanks again for your efforts!
Cliff
Ok not sure if my theme includes it’s own jquery or not! Thank you for your help, Andrew, I’ll mess around with it some more, but in the mean time found another plugin that also does the float thing and it’s working well. Want to use Digg if possible so I’ll play around with it!
Yes indeed, in the header.php
Hi Andrew, thanks for taking the time to check into this. My site is in building mode and not open to the public yet. But, I did read of those plugins potentially causing issues, and have no such plugins installed. I’ve even disabled all plugins save for Akismet and still no luck! Doubled checked the version as well.
Any further thoughts at all?
