I did that when the problem first came up two months ago. But I did end up finding the issue, and it was not what I expected. Because it was not on all OS’s (found out MacOS was not an issue along with Linus and Android) I did not look at the chrome extensions. I did today. The private internet access VPN extension was causing the issue. One uninstalled it worked. funny thing is, it was causing the issue even when NOT running, just activated.

Since I’ve also not been able to log onto twitter I went ahead and turned in a bug report. Apparently, it has been reproduced so hopefully a fix is in the next beta.

It is apparently a blank captcha. Now I know what needs to be put there, I can get in. Unfortunately, my isp says it can not be removed. I remember a sign on captcha, but it always gave me info on how to get in (ie 8+15 or something) It no longer shows that.

May have finally fixed it with smart youtube pro. I had it installed before, but I guess something in it just stopped working or was corrupted upon updating. But things appear to be working again. I hate having to depend on a plugin for what is suppose to be normal operations but as long as it keeps working I’ll be happy

My site was shut down by overnight by a 10.2GB error log. No idea of what it was, surely nothing on my computer would have been able to open it. Deleted it and hoped for the best

I updated the theme plugin tonight and it killed the site. I kept getting server errors no matter what page I tried to load. Once I deleted the plugin via ftp, things went back to normal. Can’t say why, but wanted you to know something is just not right. Site was steve-sears.net. No other errors but “server error” on Chrome
