Hi guys,
I bump into the same problem. I just switched my site from http to https by changing it in the config.php file.
https switch works, but I wasn’t able to acces my WP CMS using the original url (both http or https). I therefor deleted the define(‘ADMIN_COOKIE_PATH’, ‘/blabla’); line of code in the config.php file & changed the name of the directory of the plugin, disabling it. Having done so, I’m still not able to access the login screen.
Not the old url (both http or https), nor the /wp-admin one. It just sends me back to the homepage.
Any thoughts on how to approach this / fix this? All advice is welcome.
Best

In reply to: Read more function not workingHi,
Thanks for your reply. That is what I do. It’s in the HTML of the editor, but it just doesn’t work on my homepage. Could it be something in my
post-template.php? Or functions.php or index.php even?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Read more function not workingSorry I mean it says
<div class=”entry”>
<?php the_content(‘Read more’); ?>
<div class=”clear”>Could the problem be there?

In reply to: Is it possible to upgrade a second “sub”wordpress on the serverOk,
Go get a 2.3.3 zip.
Do that upgrade.
Go get a 2.5.1 zip
Do that upgrade.
so on and so forth.
Is what made me think it′s not possible right away.
But clearly I lost you because either your upset or not you′re saying that I′m making it harder….and something else which I don′t seem to get.
Thanks.

In reply to: Is it possible to upgrade a second “sub”wordpress on the serverWOW! :S
Sorry,
didn’t know you would be so upset. Sorry man.
So basicly what you are saying is. It’s not possible to go from 2.2.3 to 2.8.4?
thing is. I want to have a up and running 2.8 WP with my topics in it. Than change the theme, tweak the theme a little and than replace that with the site that is running.
That will take me some time. And it′s my first upgrade and site change, so sorry if I.m asking dumb questions :S
Just trying to figure it out.

In reply to: MySql problemHi whooami.
Maybe i formulated my problem wrong (sorry primairy language isn’t english).
I want to do a clean WP 2.7.1 instaal. Than I want to adjust it. Than I want to upload my MySQL from my old WP to the new one and altogheter put it online, so the visitor won’t notice anything.
Or am I seeing this wrong? Should I adjust the theme and than upgrade WP 2.2.3 to WP 2.7.1 and replace all the php files?
