Hi Noveau,
I am a newbie, do you use Child-Theme?
If you dont use Child-theme you loose that configuration in the update of the Theme or the WordPress update.

I′m using a twentyfifteen theme with the ACF qtranslate and q-Translate-X .
It was the first time that i used a plugin and it was easy.

I′m a newbie too, but i change only between twentyfifteen to twentysixteen and when i return to the first theme everything was ok.

I think that there′s no changes in the themes, except the one′s that you do and save.
