LOL…How did I do it? I deactivated Next Gen, deactivated Fancy Gallery and went back to using the Word Press native gallery. It works fine…ok, sometimes you have to do an extra step or two where NextGen had all the bells and whistles, but it took up too much of my time troubleshooting, posting to forums, waiting for answers etc.
I have a great theme, too and the forums on there are teriffic – usually get answers within a hour or two. I use PageLines and their theme iBlogPro. It’s a little pricey, but well worth the money IMHO.

Im thinking if I can change the width of the inserted gallery, the text will automatically jump into place to the right of the image, but I cant find a way to adjust the width of the gallery still…

OK…found fancy-gallery.css. Changed the float to left. It looks better, but the text does not sit to the right of the image (wrap around). It sits under….will keep trying but if you can help, please do.

I found a way to do it but now I have a new problem. I removed the single image I had in the post and replaced it with a gallery of only one image. now the Fancy Gallery works with no nav on this single image, problem is now I cant get the gallery to align left in the post like it did before.

I tired using the handles to make the gallery smaller and it doesn’t work.
Any idea how to get the gallery to align left?

Thanks for tip. It still does not work at all with the EFFECTS set to anything other than SHUTTER. It is not the effect I want, but at least it’s an overlay. The images in my post still dont open in the overlay…this is terrible. I wish it was easier to retreat back to the previous version.

Any other suggestions woulf be really appreciated.

Found a killer plugin and I got back all of the funsctionality ewxcept for one thing:

The images in the Next Gen Galleries and the Carousel on the top of the INCOLOR page on my site (flominton.com) will not display in a Lightbox. They will only open to another HTML page and then you have to click the BACK button to get back to the page.

CORRECTION – at the ALL POSTS screen in the DASHBOARD, any post I select and press QUICK EDIT disappears, not just the ones created on 3.2.1

I just also discovered that the QUICK EDIT feature is also not working. When I go to ALL POSTS, click a new post to add tags that way, the post disappears and only the posts that were created in the previous version showup.

I want my old version back…

I just posted the same issue but not willing to change themes…is that the only way to fix the problem or is this just for troubleshooting?
