  • TOTALLY WORKED!

log in through FTP and download the folder for back up purposes, then delete it. In my case it deleted the entire content of the folder revslider, but not the folder itself so I had to rename it to revslider-old.

Then log in through the admin panel and when it asks you to install the plugin, it will install the latest version.

I don’t see how it could delete the slides because they are in the data-base.

single post, i added the command and it works now. I looked it up and added some attributes. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

If I want to customize the appearance what file do I modify, the one “includes” folder?

thank you, what are the relevant template files in this case? single-post php files i suppose?

Is there a sample code I can simply copy/paste to it?

    Thank you,

This one may work, if I modify it:

How would I describe the template that has an image for a background. The image that could be modified and the left and right portion (outside the actual content area) could be used as advertising space?

Is it something that’s easy to modify in WordPress?

Here’s an example of one of my joomla websites where I usually use left and right area for advertising, but now i have two guys on there:

    fightclubmagazine [dot] net

in the GAMEPRESS example above, if i’d have to ad a couple of hundred pixels to the background image, but i’m not sure if if still would be centered or resized due to some CSS settings (background image size, position, etc…) or if it centers is immediately…

disregard, this is not on my side, it’s the advertizers code…

Maybe I wasn’t clear. Let’s say I create posts/pages and exclude them from the menu. Let’s say I email the link to someone and they decide to find more “hidden” posts and they do a search. How can I prevent this?

Are there any other ways to find these posts?

Excellent, idea. I suppose that works with posts too, not just pages…

Now what about “search” options? Can’t they accidentally stumble upon those pages if they do a search for something?

Also, there’s a “next/previous” link at the bottom, so if I send them to one of the pages, they may be able to get to the rest of them.

How would I eliminate those two problems?

Just to make sure, I’m installing the wordpress zip file, then the hybrid 0.8 framework file and finally I’m installing the hybrid news file.

Is that correct? I haven’t worked with WordPress in a long time and these frameworks are new to me.

    Thank you
