In reply to: [GeneratePress] Margins and padding between header and navThanks very much! I do like your theme quite a bit and will definitely consider some add-ons.
Sorry, I wasn’t more clear, I wasn’t updating that /css/style.css file directly, just looking for the code to paste and edit in to a Custom CSS tool. Also, I always make a child theme for that reason ??
Great help, thank you very much!!

In reply to: [Menu Image, Icons made easy] mouseover image not lining upI switched themes to TwentyTwelve and it works fine now. Must have been a TwentyElven issue?
What I was trying to explain was that the “on hover” image was not lining up on top of the first image, and causing the menu container to expand vertically far beyond the image pixel height dimension. So, when you rolled over the button it would complete the image swap but it was shifted low and to the left.
Thanks very much for you quick response, cool plugin!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Widget – how to change list styles?Thank you leahkoerper!
I’m hoping to convince them to go to Pro version, you would have a bit more support for dollars, yes?
I just want to be sure they are happy with the other Pro widget options. Does Pro have more “non programmer” tools to customize the look of the widgets? And, are the styles driven by the Calendar plug-in’s css or can/does the WordPress css over rule in some cases?

In reply to: [WP Design Maps & Places] Markers not saving and z indexAbsolutely 5 star deserved! Thanks, I was looking in the plugins’ css not the root style.css. Found it, fixed it, running great now, thanks so much!

In reply to: [WP Design Maps & Places] Markers not saving and z indexThanks again!!
So, I found that CSS tag and changed it to try a couple different options, auto, inherit, visible, etc… and nothing seemed to change. I turned the side bar back on that page so you can see how it falls behind the right sidebar.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Tool-tip popups and quotation marksI have re-installed and found that it does work, thanks!
However, only when logged out of WordPress. When logged in as admin, both FireFox and Safari don’t show the pop-ups or cannot link to next month.
Also, I had set the preferences to display the widget titles as category colors, not showing. Am I doing something wrong here?

In reply to: [WP Design Maps & Places] Markers not saving and z indexAh, yes! I didn’t think of the html I inserted there, brilliant!
I’ll check that out. Do you suggest keeping <html><body> …all the stuff… </body></html> tags?
