I’m interested to use this plugin too. Any news when the author will update the plugin?

I have the same issue. I’ve tested the latest CoBlocks v2.23.0 with the default Twenty Twenty-One, WordPress 5.3.0 and no other plugins installed. When you go to Appearance > Widgets the error occurs. If you check with the browser inspector you’ll see the error:

TypeError: jt is undefined
render wp-content/plugins/coblocks/dist/coblocks-extensions.js?ver=2b72f510b2dbf9013c6192ad460c076e:57

I verified the previous CoBlocks version 2.2.11 and it works fine.

Use the php function ( see the Installation tab from the plugin page ):
