Now, the titles of my links inside the table have a white background. How can I change that white background strip to being transparent?

Figured it out. I had to reinstall the theme.

For whatever reason now my widgets are not showing up. I thought I had re-pasted everything in the right spot but looks like something got changed. Any suggestions?

Ok, the site now loads. I copied the files in page.php and pasted them in my themes folder. I then deleted that line of code you referred to in the themes folder. The header is still on all pages though. Did I follow the right steps?

I deleted that first line but now I can’t bring up the site. This is the message I get:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /hermes/bosweb/web201/b2011/ipg.chadfloydcom/chadswebsite/wp-content/themes/commune/page.php on line 25
Any suggestions?

I figured it out. I was working with the header codes in style menu instead of the header menu. Thanks

I tried some of the codes in the article but no luck. I still must be overlooking something.

ok – I went to a different computer in the house and they are showing white. Not sure why other than maybe my other computer was not showing the updates.

The font is actually appearing black to me with a gray hover – I am wanting white.
