In reply to: [HTTP Headers] Getting error on saving settingsPlease be honest. Multiple people are reporting the same error. When we try to save the settings we have made we get a critical error. Over and over again.
You may not know how to fix it. That’s ok. Someone else may. But refusing to acknowledge the truth people are telling you is unprofessional and unethical.
solved
Please disregard, I found the solution in a previous post:
define( ‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true );
thanks

In reply to: [Editorial Calendar] [Plugin: Editorial Calendar] Calender has dissappearedSame problem for me after upgrading to v2.2. Can’t see the calendar at all, just a blank page. Deactivated plugin, upgraded WP from 3.3.2 to 3.4.1. Reactivated plugin. Same problem. Deleted plugin, downloaded it manually and reinstalled and reactivated it. Still invisible. Would have about 50 unscheduled drafts.

In reply to: WP-db-backup creates file, but no email is sentSame problem with single install of 3.04. Downgrading to 2.2.2 fixed the problem. My zipped backup is only 3mb. I think the problem is with 2.2.3.

In reply to: FeedWordPress Update IntervalsI’d also like to be able to manually set this parameter, but in my case to more like every 500 minutes or more to reduce CPU load on my server.

In reply to: WP-Polls – not doing anything???The other possibility I can think of is that your domain URL you set in WordPress is not the same as the one you are trying to access with.
I have always had this set correctly. So the problem is propbably an obscure plugin clash…

In reply to: [Plugin: FeedWordPress] Connection Failed ErrorNo. This problem can happen immediately once the plugin is installed correctly with rss.php and rss-functions.php used as required. Without using those two files you get bad importing in general. Everything works correctly except WP.com feeds.
My workaround is to dump WP.com feeds into a Pipe then add RSS of Pipe to FWP.

In reply to: [Plugin: FeedWordPress] Connection Failed ErrorThe issue is definitely with FWP. I have recieved an email from Woorpress.com support confirming their category feeds are valid.

In reply to: Customizing FeedWordPressThe first two can be dealt with by altering the plugin settings.

In reply to: [Plugin: FeedWordPress] Connection Failed ErrorI’ve had the same problem with wordpress.com feeds using WordPress v2.7 with FeedWordPress 2008.1214. As far as I can tell the problem is the format of the wordpress.com feed, or WordPress’s ability to interpret it.
The default rss sidebar widget fails on the same feeds that FWP fails on, so it’s not necessarily a FWP problem.
I fed one wordpress.com feed through a yahoo pipe then imported it with FWP and it worked.
I’ve been emailing with Charles from FWP about the fix and he’s suggested he has a possible workaround based on WordPress itself, not FWP… more details soon.
