Hi – it would be to book pairs of tickets for certain events. We don’t have the users registering as it’s an annual tournament so just want them to be able to buy tickets.

    Currently we have:-

    Men’s Singles
    Men’s Doubles
    Ladies Doubles
    Mixed Doubles

When people enter the doubles, they need to purchase 2 tickets (one for them and one for their playing partner). For singles, they only purchase 1 ticket (for them as they play on their own).

If a club submits an entry for more than 1 doubles pairs then I need them to only be able to select tickets 2, 4, 6 etc. tickets (in the case of entering 3 pairs they’d choose 6 tickets). However, at the moment, I can only set a minimum of 2 tickets but people can then choose 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 etc.

    Perfect – that’s worked a treat!

    Thanks for the quick support!

OK, I’ve narrowed it down. If I have the petition showing on a page it displays correctly. If I use it in a placeholder in the theme so that it’s displayed on the home screen (when scrolling), it doesn’t work.

OK, I’ve worked some of this out.

I have kept “Division 1”, “Division 2”, etc. as the competitions. I have then created League Tables as “2014-2015 Division 1”, “2015-2016 Division 1”, etc.

All seems to work OK but there is a major issue I cannot seem to work around. If a team gets relegated from Division 1 to Division 2, how do I record this? I’ve added the new season to the team and I’ve added Division 2 to the team. Now they are showing in both Division 1 and Division 2 in the current and previous season! There is no way to say, Team A is in Division 1 in 2014/2015 season and Division 2 in 2015/2016 season.

Please someone tell me what I’m overlooking!

I’m struggling to see the point of having “seasons” at all for the plugin. Looking through it again, there appears to be no link between seasons and competitions.

The way I thought it would work would be (e.g., English football):-

      Season 2014/2015

    Premier League
    Championship
    League 1
    League 2
    etc.

      Season 2015/2016

    Premier League
    Championship
    League 1
    League 2
    etc.

You add the teams and you allocate them to the league by season. e.g., Team A is in Championship for the 2014/2015 season but the Premier League for the 2015/2016 season (i.e., they were promoted).

The only way I can see the plugin working with seasons is if I create new competitions for each season. So it would be:-

      Season 2014/2015

    2014-2015 Premier League
    2014-2015 Championship
    2014-2015 League 1
    2014-2015 League 2
    etc.

In a few seasons I’m going to have a ton of different competitions listed!

Surely there should be a way to have the competitions being dependants of the seasons.

    Can someone clarify?

I need to get the leagues updated for the new season while retaining the existing tables for the 2014/2015 season for the archive pages.

It’s happened to me as well. Changing the timezone to London hasn’t changed the times. It seems to happen every year and I’ve had enough.

What I do now (on 3 of the 4 sites I run) is use a Google Calendar for the events and use the AI1EC to subscribe to the Google Calendar feed. Works a treat.

I love the AI1EC plugin but it just seems to cause problems each year. I only have one site to migrate now to Google Calendar.

I am using 4 and there is no update showing.

Suppose I’d best just wait it out until they release an en_GB version.

I double and triple checked everything. I even installed the localization plugin and it showed the changes I’d made to the po and mo files in the plugin but they weren’t reflected on the site.

    Strange!

    @lorro

Sorry – my bad – I was looking at the woocommerce-admin-en_GB.po file. However, I’ve edited the correct po file, using Poedit and saved the file which generated the mo file. I’ve copied both to the web server. I’ve also defined the language in the WP-Config file but it doesn’t do anything.

    Woocommerce version is 2.1.12.

    Hi,

I’ve searched the file you mention but cannot find the relevant entries for the text I need to change.

I’ve managed to update the “Shipping and Handling” to “Delivery” by editing the
    “cart-shipping.php” file in
    “wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/cart/”

However, I’ve tried changing relevant values in the other php files but it makes no difference.

I’ve managed to do it using a child calendar theme. Quite simple after all and is outlined here:-

Basically, it’s like creating a child theme for the WordPress site but for the calendar. Copied the calendar.twig file to the child folder and edited one line. Now the subscribe button is on the left and works well.

I’m not an expert at CSS at all so would need some guidance. Ideally I would like to move the button to the left – since the drop down menu goes to the right it would make sense to have the button on the left to avoid this issue.

    kpierce362,

If you have no other plugins running and you’ve re-installed the ai1ec plugin and it’s still causing problems then the only thing that could be the issue is the theme.

There are many aspects to different themes and different themes may share similar code which causes problems with the plugin. I’m currently having a small issue with the ai1ec on two of my sites, both with different themes. I’ve changed to the TwentyThirteen theme and the ai1ec works properly so I know it is a theme issue. However, I’m hopeful for a workaround. Mine is a minor problem so not that bad.

Can you not duplicate the site and change the duplicate site’s theme to test things out?

You could try switching to the TwentyThirteen theme temporarily to see if the issue is still there.

If the issue is there then I would say it’s a problem with the ai1ec plugin and you may need to remove it and re-install it. You’ll lose your calendar data though if you do.

You’ve posted a link to your WordPress login page.
