@luciamarinescu Thank you so much! That worked like a charm ??

Complianz says it IS AMP compatible, so it looks like a lot of the “compatible” plugins are having issues for some reason when AMP does a scan… I even tried using a health check plugin to start things one at a time and the plugins (that are supposed to be compatible) all still showed as having issues.

When I tried expressing my concerns to Woocommerce, they directed me back to you (AMP).

I will try contacting my hosting provider for your other suggestion.

Otherwise I’m guessing I’m just better off deactivating AMP? Because I can’t uninstall Woocommerce, but I’m having issues between it and AMP, as well as issues (that seem like they shouldn’t be happening/are a lot of false positives) between AMP and other supposedly compatible plugins, and so far the suggestions haven’t fixed the issue but seem to have made it worse…

I’ve already done suggestions 1 and 2… and honestly I’m starting to get a lot of plugins which, to my understanding, opens me up to more security threats so I don’t like the idea of having to add ANOTHER plugin just to make the original plugins work better… Are there any other options besides adding another plugin or deleting AMP altogether?

Thanks for the response. I want to double check, if I’m understanding correctly, AMP is falsely flagging Complianz as having incompatibility issues. If I “suppress” Complianz plugin within AMP, then everything should work correctly?

Hello? Does anyone associated with this plugin know if it meets California standards? (Gotta love how when I don’t reply to a thread in four days its closed but mine can be ignored for a week and a half without issue…)

    Thank you!

Fair question. When I refer to “compatible”, what I mean is:

When I run an AMP “site scan” Complianz shows up on the list of “Plugins with AMP incompatibility”. Also, after using a Health Check plugin, I discovered the Neve theme (which is also supposed to be AMP compatible) only shows up as having compatibility issues when I activate the Complianz plugin.

I am fairly new to this, so I’m not really familiar with coding, inline scripts, etc. What would “suppressing” the Complianz plugin (from AMP) do? Also, other than “suppressing” Complianz is there anything I can/should do to address the compatibility issue?

    @milindmore22 Thank you.

I installed the suggested health plugin and ran the troubleshooting mode, following your suggested steps.
-AMP activated first and re-ran the site scan = no issues found
-Activated Neve theme and re-ran AMP site scan= no issues found
Added each of the following plugins, then ran AMP site scan with the indicated findings:
    -Jetpack = incompatibility issues indicated
    -Jetpack Boost= incompatibility issues indicated
    -Bluehost = no issues
-Bluehost Website builder = incompatibility issues indicated
    -Woocommerce = incompatibility issues indicated
    etc

Turn out the Complianz Cookie plugin was responsible for the Neve theme having compatibility issues. I will try to look for a new one that is both AMP friendly and compliant to the California standards (CCPA). My follow-up questions are:
    1) Why are Jetpack and Jetpack Boost showing as incompatible when they are listed in wordpress as being AMP compatible?
    2) Woocommerce is still showing as incompatible (and now when I try to add an item to cart from my mobile, I get an error message so after following the above posted advice it seems like things got worse regarding the woocommerce section of my website). Any further suggestions short of un-installing the AMP plugin to get Woocommerce to work on mobile?

Thanks again. Last question and I think I’m set: The Neve theme is in paired mode by default, correct? Or do I need to toggle something to enable it?

    (@firstfestivefooties)

Thank you for the feedback. I am using the regular/free Neve theme (not premium). Any ideas why it is being listed as incompatible?

I have done your suggestions for Woocommerce. Thank you.

Two of the other plugins listed as having compatibility issues on my website are Jetpack and Jetpack boost (both of which are listed on your linked ecosystem page). Any ideas how to fix/address this?

    Thanks so much!
So, would it make sense to use the “paired mode” in the Neve them in addition to the Transitional Mode in the AMP plugin?

    (@firstfestivefooties)

I will also revisit the last question of my original post (which IS woocommerce specific): Is there anything I can do to make the woocommerce plugin more mobile-friendly?

    Thread Starter firstfestivefooties

    (@firstfestivefooties)

Thank you for the feedback. Part of my question was will woocommerce still function if it is suppressed (and I assumed that those who know the woocommerce plugin would best know if it can or should not be suppressed vs some other maker/company who may not have the woocommerce best interest in mind….)? I will ask them instead. Hopefully I get an honest answer from them
