Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: 3.6 Update ErrorI have deactivated ALL plugins, changed theme, still having problem.
It didn’t start until I updated JetPack today — but STILL happens even when I disable JetPack. I’m stumped.

In reply to: 3.6 affected my connection??I am having the same problem.
Though mine didn’t occur until after today’s JetPack update BUT still happens after deactivating ALL plugins. It’s very odd.
No, my WP is always up-to-date with the latest version, so I know I didn’t go from 2.9 to 3.1. I’m also not in a subdirectory on the blog that didn’t work — though I was on a blog that did work.
Support page for WordPress.com (who runs JetPack) reads:
WordPress.com is currently experiencing a few problems. We are pushing all of our resources to resolve the issue as soon as possible. The latest information will be posted here. Thanks so much for your patience.
I FINALLY get JetPack working and get THIS error:
“Whoops!
There was a small systems error. Please try refreshing the page and if the error is still there drop us a note and let us know.”
In fact, it crashes my whole Dashboard page, making it nothing but a white page.
Breathe in, breathe out. Anyone else experiencing it? (I have it cross-blog right now.)
Also worked here. I really didn’t think that it would, but was pleasantly surprised. So big kudos to giacom8 for figuring it out. JetPack “officials” have been in contact with me via email for a few days now and couldn’t figure it out.
You have my appreciation!
All information sent. Thank you for your time!
Update: Went in to physically remove instead of just pressing delete. Then went ahead and re-configured my JetPack stats configuration.
And?
I still have the old stats page with a big blank graph and totally decimated stats.
Deleting WorPress.com Stats gives me this fatal error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare stats_get_options() in /home/stopdrop/public_html/wp-content/plugins/stats/stats.php on line 28
…
And now what do I do?
kpont; I created a new admin and I can see my stats. Which is a) great that they still exist, b) ridiculously annoying if that’s the only workaround.
I have it installed on three separate sites with one WordPress.com account. Of course, one of those installs is totally borked and Andy can’t tell me what is wrong with it. But the other two work absolutely fine. (The one that doesn’t work was the second install. Still showing old stats page despite the old stats being deactivated.) Third install went swimmingly.
kpont; It just doesn’t make sense as to why, does it? I wonder if I install a new user if it would let me at least SEE my freaking stats — as opposed to what I have now… which is basically useless.
I received an email from support that told me to un- and reinstall. Again. I did, including the upgrade to 1.1.1 — still with the old dashboard.
I’m beyond frustrated, especially as it has totally borked all of my stats and I can’t use the old WordPress.com Stats plugin anymore. I have no idea why it worked on two blogs, but not the third. Same host, same everything. And I can’t get an answer as to what is wrong or how to fix it.
No. I have not received a reply to my support email and no one has reached out here.
