What could be causing this?

Hi Kafkaesqui

I am using the post code you very kindly supplied me and it appears to work just fine, but (theres always a but), I have a hidden category called ‘events’ that does not show up on the ‘home’ page. It seems these hidden posts are screwing up the listings and the calculation repeats titles that are already listed in the first 5 main posts.

Is there a way (somehow) to ignore these when it comes to the calculation?

Thanks for that and I understand what you say but I really don’t want to manually code the categories in case I ever change them.

I just thought that we would be able to create dynamically the categories and some recent posts from those categories.

Can it be that hard?

etc.

One I am absolutely lost without is Post Moderation: https://www.blueeye.us/wordpress/index.php?p=12

I thought WP2 would have incorporated this as it is a neat feature that allows you to moderate authors before gpoing live.

Is there another plugin that does this. Role manager allows only authors to save as preview, but that is no good for admin as she does not know is the article is finished or not.

That is why Post Moderation was so neat.
