I think i just have one more question … how can i change the color of the “popular tags” to be gold on the NEWS page to match the other pages? Right now its white on the NEWS (blog) page and gold font on the other pages.

that first one worked perfectly… now, one more question.. on the blog page the links on the sidebar need to be the yellow color as well (you can see it on other pages) … they are showing white for some reason. Any custom CSS code to update that? This is the links under Recent News, News Archive and Popular Tags.

argh – it came close … now the title “BLOG” is gold, but the main title of the page on the blog page is white… any chance of changing that main title (not the catch phrase) back to the gold?

That worked perfectly! Thank you… when i look at the site title though, on the blog page, it is white as well but the gold color on all the other pages. How can i ensure that it remains gold as well?

any help on this would be great… the thing is still showing as blue and not the red we need it.

it hasn’t been inactive – you haven’t responded to my inquiry and what you state will work – doesn’t. its still blue even after your customer CSS. its being overwritten somewhere in the code.

Yeah my bad – it’s the featured event background. I don’t have the calendar in a widget. Just the featured event. You can see it at finstudios.com

What do I need to put in the css file that is specific for that featured event section? Curious if I just put in a background-color on it it will change the entire Events Calendar. Any assistance would be great…

I have created that folder and placed another file named tribe-events.css in the theme folder as stated. As you can see from fiN Studios the blue is still showing when its supposed to be the red color that appears on the events page Events

Any ideas on how to fix this terrible blue that is an eye sore to our site?

How, and where, did you modify the featured event’s background color on the right sidebar?

We recommend creating a new file called tribe-events.css in the following location:

wp-content/themes/YOUR_THEME/tribe-events/tribe-events.css

please fix the featured event color issue… its really annoying and doesn’t look good with the site layouts as blue…
