Hello halls,

I went into you site and read the upgrade tutorial. It does not indicate what to do in case of all meta data disappearing from the configuration page pf the plugin.

“…configure the plugin however you like (or leave the default or old options) and select the enable radio button option.”

…But ALL the old options are gone. the page is blank. Now the 1.6.3 upgrade came a few hours after the 1.6.2 but still the same problem.

Is there a way to retrieve all the old options or at least the default options that came with the plugin?

This upgrade also erased all the plugins meta data. now it’s all blank as an unsolved mystery.
switching the status to ENABLED does not do a thing.
Does anyone know what to do???

Just to make it clear: my db queries count went up from 20 per page load to 123 after the activation of this plugin. I have never seen a plugin like this before.

I figured out the issue with dynamic updating: the plugin “exclude pages” has a checkbox to include (show in menues) sub-pages which are ancestored by pages that are hidden. Meaning that a page which is hidden from the top navigation menu (to my request of course) can have children pages that will be visible.
I was unaware of this and all sub pages that were not shown/updated were not checked to be shown.

that also fixed the “problem” of not performing with multiple instances if pagelist because all subpages are showing now, as you can see:

concerning the list, i can tell you the plugins that i have that might be related and perhaps maybe one of them does this:
1. exclude pages from navigation list plugin
2. my page order plugin
no other caching plugins – i have several more plugins but nothing special that might interfere with pagelist.

and what about when the site goes up – i surely will want to use some caching plugin to speed things up – what do you recommend i do then?

Well, all the bugs which I mentioned appear in the default theme as well. moreover, for some reason when i try now to insert a slideshow into a page via the nextgen icon it does nothing. the screen blinks for a second and nothing appears. i need to insert the code manually.

I am interested in that too… I posted in the NextGEN gallery forum in order to see if there is an option to make a photo link to a URL of my need and not the image path.

There is an option to use the built in gallery of wordpress, it gives the option to choose a specific URL for every image, however, it does not work – it keeps erasing that url and using the default blank or the one that leads to the enlarged image… BUMMER..

HELP…? ??
