Unfortunately, we do not allow this anymore. It’s a long story, but basically, we decided it was a mistake to offer this option at all, due to some deep-rooted programming issues as well as methodologies with WordPress itself. We are terribly sorry if this negatively impacts your ability to use Client Dash. We absolutely want to provide even more powerful customization tools in the future that could allow something more to be done with menu customizations, but for now, you can only edit sub-menus as they currently exist.
At the very least, it could be possible to manually create Custom Links in sub-menus and then manually enter the desired admin URL, but it could be somewhat messy.
Again, very sorry for this inconvenience.
As for removing Client Dash from the menu, you are not able to hide the Client Dash item for Administrators. The reason for this is that, if you did hide it for Administrators, then nobody would be able to access Client Dash settings anymore (including yourself).
I’ve gone ahead and made a small plugin that can help you do this. You will need to edit the plugin file to use it. Here is a link to download it: https://d.pr/f/4hMRes
Once you download it, open up the main file “client-dash-hide-settings-page.php” and you will see a place to add a list of allowed user IDs. Add your user ID (as well as any others you want to be able to access the Client Dash settings page) to this list.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.
