Alright, I figured it out finally… In my case it was the plugin NGG Voting.
In their FAQ, they’ve mentioned to include their code <?php echo nggv_imageVoteForm($image->pid); ?> after the closing of <a> tag, but I included the line before the closing </a> tag, by mistake.
Once I moved the code after the </a> tag, the issue got resolved. ??

How come no one from NGG is responding with a solution to this annoying issue? In my site also every image is getting duplicated 3 times in Fanxybox plugin!

Just wishing it’d all become Ajax one day…

It was all working perfectly fin with the 1.4 version of NGG Voting plugin.
But there was a recent update to the NGG itself, and after that upgrade, the NGG Voting never worked again… ??
I tried de/activating the plugin, even removing and reinstalling the plugin, but in vain ??
Anyone knows how to renable it after an NGG update?

That trick worked. I deactivated all plugins, and upgraded successfully.
After upgrade activated all plugins and it all works great ??

Added the .htaccess line. But still the same position. ??
Regarding the php memory, it’s the same PHP running 3 more WP blogs on the same server. WP 3.0 got upgraded fine on those ones, but not getting installed on this one alone. So can I assume that memory shouldn’t be an issue here?
Also I found that the theme I’m using (eGallery) has been made WP 3.0 compliant recently, so I did download the update and replaced the old one with this one too. But still no difference ??

Any more suggestions? I really want to find out if any plugin or theme could be hindering the upgrade… But the WP upgrade doesn’t have any logs?

Can’t the star voting be AJAX enabled?
Just FYI, I’ve enabled the default ‘ThickBox’ effects in my nextgen gallery. Could that have any issues with the ‘Page Not Found‘?
