I’m on the opposite side of the fence. I’ve tried WP Forms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, and Contact Form 7, and like Caldera the best.
We’re using Caldera on multiple sites and haven’t needed to purchase any add-ons. The free version of Caldera is the only one we could find that met our needs with conditional form fields and excellent documentation that made it easy for us to interact with it in javascript. Not to mention not needing to rely on email for form submissions, because the submissions are stored in a database available in the UI.
