In reply to: [Hueman] Blog pages with two sidebarsBdbrown,
Thanks for replying.
1. Yes. The layout I selected has a left and right sidebar, with content in the center.
2. Sorry. I should have said primary and secondary sidebars. Primary/Left sidebar should be “public menu”–same as on other pages (home, community service, meetings). The right sidebar should be links and desriptions of blog posts. The actual blog posts have both sidebars–it’s just the main blog page that’s not working as expected.
3. This is a test site. I just started converting existing content to work in the new theme and I haven’t decided what I’m going to do with the calendar page (among others). The home page is purposely left sidebar only.
4. The difference between the Community Service page layout and the Chapter Blog page is what I don’t understand. The Page Options are the same.
Thanks again for looking at this.

In reply to: [Encounters Lite] Using a child theme to change footerI swear I must have looked at that a dozen times and did not see the box (though I was sure I saw it when I was setting up the page) and just glance over it.
Thanks for your help and getting me pointed in the right direction.
@jsaligoe
Thanks for the info. Turns out I had found information about changing caption to alttext previously, since the change was already in the gallery-caption file, so the issue for me is still the spacing. Given that it works in your case, I’m inclined to believe it may be an issue with my theme, which unfortunately doesn’t address plug-in issues.I looked at the generated code and there are two

. I can’t figure out where they are generated. If we knew that, maybe it could be suppressed.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Auto ThickBox Plus] [Plugin: Auto ThickBox Plus] Titles, Captions, and LinksI’ve just gone ahead and changed all the apostrophes to right single quotes (

) as my own workaround.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Auto ThickBox Plus] [Plugin: Auto ThickBox Plus] Titles, Captions, and LinksThanks for the information on Titles.
I have deleted and reinstalled the plugin from WordPress twice and still the same issue.
FWIW, I think it may be a an issue outside the plugin. With the Auto Thickbox Plus deactivated, I looked at the problem images. The duplicated text was still under the image, same as after the plugin was activated. The difference was that with the plugin I can see the complete description and navigation.
Is there something else I can do short of rewriting all the captions with apostophes and a hrefs?

In reply to: [Auto ThickBox Plus] [Plugin: Auto ThickBox Plus] Titles, Captions, and LinksClose button is below Prev/Next links in about half of images that has longer caption than image width.
I didn’t realize this was a problem, but see your point.
Part of caption is inserted under the image in No.22/24 whose caption contains both apostrophe (‘) and greater-than sign (>).
Second problem is caused by ThickBox bug, so I fixed it. Please reinstall the plugin. What is the current version of Thickbox? 1.9 is installed. On WordPress site, I see 1.9 and on the plug-in site, I see 1.7.
One additional problem is that the titles are not appearing even though I have selected: Settings->View->Title->Top
Thanks.
