Currently, there’s no option to prevent collecting IPs within elementor with this plugin.
Best, as you mentioned, you connect to elementor to ask for support.

Just disable the “Delete comments after time” checkbox. This will cause the instant deletion of ip addresses.
But you are correct, we should add this to the readme. We will apply it in our next update.

I checked it from 3 devices right now. I’m pretty sure it’s a client problem on your device. Just try on your smartphone to proof.

Today, an update has been deployed. On all our development websites everything works fine.

I just checked your website, and I can see the banner.
If you once applied the cookie notice, it won’t be shown again.
You can ensure the plugin is working fine with accessing your website though a private window of your browser, using another browser or even using another computer.

As in the description, there’s no guarantee that this plugin meets the laws in your country. For many countries a banner with an ok button is already enough. If you are unsure if it meets your legal requirements you should consult a lawyer.

Currently, this plugin is working with all current versions of WordPress – this is why it wasn’t updated the last time.

Because of your problem:
This plugin isn’t generating any IPs or something. It only blocks that the IP is stored in the database when someone’s commenting.
I’m pretty sure this plugin hasn’t anything to do with your issue – could you please just disable this plugin and try if the issue still persists?

No, there are no images and pages/posts loaded.
Maybe there could be the problem. But how do I detect the detailled problem?

I know it won’t do anything worse – but I want my logs clean, not growing and easier for real error investigation.

I’m using PHP 8.0 on both sites, they are hosted on the same server.

Ich habe bereits 2 mal gefragt ob du mir einen Screenshot oder einen Link zu deiner Seite zur Verfügung stellen kannst.
Da ich keine Antwort hierüber erhalten kann und das Problem auch nicht reproduzierbar ist schlie?e ich den Supportfall hier.

Ich konnte in meinen Testumgebungen das Problem nicht reproduzieren.
Aber stelle mir doch gerne einen Screenshot und/oder einen Link zu der betroffenen Seite zur Verfügung, dann schaue ich gerne genauer nach!

But, if this code is placed by Site Kit, how can I modify it? It isn’t hardcoded in the theme.
