In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack Sync Issue?Hi?@taylorfoxxdev ,
I’d like to confirm that on top of what my colleague shared above, the original reported “Killed Query” issue is now resolved on our end.
An important part of ensuring Jetpack and WooCommerce related features work as expected, involves syncing certain site data to Automattic’s servers.
At some point (unfortunately too long ago to find related logs) the queue of data we sync grew too large, which combined with WPEngine’s limitation in database queries of SELECT Statements resulted in the “Killed Query” error you reported.
We have now cleared the queue of data we sync at your site, therefore you shouldn’t be seeing those errors anymore.
That said, what @lastsplash shared above in terms of configuring Sucuri to allow Jetpack to access?
xmlrpc.php
is still applicable and would be great to be addressed. It’s worth noting that though the issue becomes apparent when trying to open a post sent via the autogenerated email, the underlying cause seems to be the actual post’s permalink.
I’m not aware of any similar issues caused by Jetpack therefore I’d suggest disabling all other plugins first and checking if the issue persists.
It might be also worth trying with a different theme.
Hope this helps! Please let us know if you need further assistance!
Hi Dominique,
For this particular post you shared above it looks like this error was caused by an erroneous
'
appended at the end of the post’s permalink.I noticed that this seems to be the case though for all your post permalinks, so I wonder if there’s a plugin, theme or custom filter (eg
the_permalink
) that might be causing this behaviour. If the issue with the erroneous
'
gets resolved, the signature error you described above will be resolved too.Hope this helps!
