Just to update the forum… a fix for the reCAPTCHA issue will be released with the next update of the plugin (version 2.2.0.2). It should only be an issue with sites running on certain server setups (case sensitive file systems).

The second issue you reported should be resolved after updating to the latest version that was just released, version 2.2.0.1. Can you confirm if you have any issues clearing spots after updating?

As for the reCAPTCHA issue, I haven’t been able to reproduce this just yet. Are you able to provide a link to a page where you are seeing this issue?

Thanks for reporting this. The error should be resolved in the latest update (version 2.2.0.1) of the Sign-up Sheets plugin that was just released. Please let me know if you continue to see this error after updating.

Thanks for reporting this. I will see if I can reproduce on my end. In the meantime, can you confirm what versions of WordPress and PHP you are running? You should be able to find your version of PHP by going into your WordPress admin under Tools > Site Health, then click the Info tab and then open the Server section.

Version 2.2 of the Sign-up Sheet plugin was just released today which add the ability to override this dropdown with your own values as needed by tapping into the new fdsus_states filter.

Just an update, version 2.2 of the Sign-up Sheet plugin was just released today which should resolve this issue. If you have any trouble, just let me know.

Although I haven’t heard of this happening frequently there is an upcoming version update that might solve your issue depending on exactly what is going on. This is not currently an option, however it is expected to be included with the next version of the plugin so keep an eye out!

I will contact you directly with an update since WordPress only allows this particular forum for support requests for the free version of the plugin only, but I will get back to you once I determine the issue and a resolution.

Thanks for reporting this and for the extra details. I have additional text (including the lines you mentioned) added to the translation file which is slated to be released with the next version of the plugin.

You can disable the reminder cron by going to Sign-up Sheets > Settings > Reminder E-mail and then uncheck “Enable Reminders” and then click the “Save Changes” button.

Can you please confirm which version of the Sign-up Sheets plugin you are running? Also, can you copy/paste the exact shortcode you are using here so I can take a closer look?

To display sheets within just a single category you can use [sign_up_sheet category_slug="your-slug"]

Just replace your-slug with the slug of the category you want to display which you can find under Sign-up Sheets > Sheet Categories

Can you confirm which versions of the Sign-up Sheet plugin and WordPress you are using? Typically if a shortcode is displaying like that in plain text it means one of two things…

1. The plugin may need to be activated – TO FIX: go to your “Plugins” page in your WordPress admin and look for the Sign-up Sheets plugin and verify it is the one by the author “Fetch Designs” and that it is activated.
2. There may be a problem with the shortcode text… sometimes this happens with copying and pasting where special characters are included but may not be visible or may have the quotes accidentally swapped out for smart quotes. – TO FIX: Try deleting the shortcode from your page and manually typing it in [sign_up_sheet] without copy/paste just in case.

Please let me know if that resolves your issue or if not, what version you are running of both the Sign-up Sheets plugin and WordPress.
