I am using WordPress 2.9.2 and upgraded from Nextgen Gallery 1.4.3 to 1.5.0 – Well, I tried to but I could never complete the upgrade just as described above…

I am not sure but I think the MU stands for Multi-User. If so, I am not a WPMU user, I’m the only admin in my personal blog…

Well, I found a great solution, downgrade back to NextGen version 1.4.3 and thinking 100 times before doing a new upgrade…

Andy, I found a radical solution, as no one is answering over here, I downgraded NextGen back to version 1.4.3 and everything is working as it was before… I’ll think a 100 times before doing a new upgrade.

No answers, problem is still here, I’m using Nextgen gallery as an alternative to upload new media, tried in 3 different Macs and 4 different browsers, nothing works, I see only the title “Upload New Media” in a frozen screen, no option for clicking or browsing anything.

Would a generous soul share some of its knowledge / experience with me?

I’ll keep waiting some more days, next step, downgrade back to 2.9.1…

Hi, I am having a similar problem. I can’t even see the browser box to select the picture I want to upload, both from media library/add new or directly from the post. All that I see when I click media library/add new is a completely blank/white page below the “Upload New Media”

I’ m stuck here.

Just as Samboll said, I tried to verify my wp-content/uploads folder and it’s already set to 777.

Could anybody help me over here? I’m using WP 2.9.2

I am having the exactly same problem. I am using WP 2.9.2 and, exactly as described above, it happened to me after upgrading to NextGen 1.5.0.

I found this other post telling me to deactivate and activate it, or looking for $dbversion in a .php file and changing the version number, I tried all this stuff but nothing changes.

I just don’t have any more access to the NextGen gallery, I am stuck with this neverending “Upgrade database structure”.

I would be very grateful if anyone could help me over here. Alex?

Hi, I am having the same problem now. I am using WordPress 2.9.2 and just after upgrading to Nextgen 1.5.0 I have this never ending message “upgrade database structure” and nothing happens. I tried to deactivate and reactivate the plugin, just as said above, but I still have the same problem. Then I tried to find, as simplistik said above, the $dbversion, but it already had the right version 1.5.0 written inside the php file.

I am not a programmer so I don’t have a real understanding of what I am doing here.

Should I completely delete the plugin and reinstall it again? Will I loose all my pictures and captions doing so?

I would be very grateful if someone could help me over here, thanks…

I’m on the same quest, I found two widgets: “twitter friends” and “twitter friends widget”. I can’t make any of them work properly. The first one every time I try to authenticate it with my twitter password it says “Authentication Failed”. The second one shows a blank widget, only the title is showing.

Did any of you had a better luck?
