I′ve got to static page thing going already. However I would like to have two columns on that home page (I tried coding it a bunch of different ways, none worked, I′m not really a coder so I wasn′t surprised). I′ve been adding feature images to help out. But my background colors and images don′t appear, but apparently that′s a normal problem? My header doesn′t fill the length of the page, I found code for that but it should be pasted in a style.file or something which I don′t have at the moment either and am not sure if I should download it.
