In reply to: Auto embed not working@artidas90, I deleted the plugin and found another way around it. the plugin doesn’t work as described
Wow, no one has responded to this yet? Has no one else ever come across this?
Thanks for your suggestion MattyRob. However, the email address of the logged in user is on the same domain and is definitely not a Gmail, Yahoo, or MSN email address.
The second possibility you suggested also cannot be correct. I am only trying to send it to one person. Also, our hosting provider does not have a limit on how many emails we send.
This means there is something else wrong. But what confuses me is that I am able to send preview emails and I receive emails when someone signs up. Also, I am using the Configure SMTP plugin and I am able to send emails with that.

In reply to: Unable to delete commentsI have the same problem. Did you manage to solve this?
Has anyone been able to figure this out yet?
Cool. Well if you get it to work, let me know. It might come in handy for me. I’m going to try to figure out how to use a CDN with the plugin
OK no worries. Thanks a lot. I never new Notepad++ had a compare feature. Thanks for the tip
Ahhh, I see. I didn’t realize Notepad++ had a compare tool. I’ll use that then to figure out the changes. Thanks a lot for this. I really appreciate it. One more thing, do you know how to get the plugin to work with Amazon S3 for WordPress with CloudFront?
Same here. I’ve been changing the functions.php file for a while now but unfortunately, I haven’t documented my changes. I do have a copy saved for backup. Do you know where I can get the original functions.php file for version 1.83. I think I might just go through the original file line by line checking it against mine so I can document the changes so I can also update to version 1.84. Also, do you know how to get the plugin to work with Amazon S3 for WordPress with CloudFront?
I found an alternative way to this anyways. But thanks for the info
Hi Span,
Thank you very much. it worked fine in 1.83. I just pasted
$alttext = ($image->imageURL); right after
// get the title
$alttext = empty( $meta[‘title’] ) ? $image->alttextIt works perfectly. Thanks a lot man. Much appreciated
I’m using 1.83 it is the line that has this code:
// strip off the extension of the filename
$path_parts = pathinfo( $picture, PATHINFO_BASENAME);
$alttext = pathinfo( $picture, PATHINFO_BASENAME);anyone…? smh
