Hi,
It seems to be resolved now. I suspect it was Registration Magic. I noticed there was a section they added for pro version that it wouldn’t let you select email activations if not pro while your did. After their second update your activation links now work again.
All good now.
Thanks!

In reply to: [VidYen Crypto Reward System] Referrals set upGlad I could help!
Let me know if you have any further issues!
Hi,
Sorry for delay, I need to clone a site and remove the user data and other stuff.
I’m going to retest tomorrow anyways since I’ve seen all 3 plugins that might be responsible (PG, MR, and WPSMTP) were updated recently as well after I made this post.
Will get back with you soon!
Thanks!

In reply to: [VidYen Crypto Reward System] Referrals set upSorry again, WordPress no longer sends me emails on support forums so I have to manually check…
You have to have an output somewhere.
Basically, the PE stands for point exchange… Which means they have to have an output to something they want in the end.
So if they cash out to say WooCommerce credit the referral gets a bonus of that.
Example:
[vyps-pe firstid=3? firstamount=1000 outputamount=0.01 woowallet=true refer=10]
Or Dash-Slug if they used that.
If you really don’t have an output like that then you just need a second point to gate out to with.
[vyps-pe firstid=3 outputid=4 firstamount=1 outputamount=99 refer=10]
So when they run the transaction they get referral bonus that way. Make sure they can’t do a back and forth point exchange and earn the referral infinite points.
My view is that simply awarding people referral points simply for signing up means they’ll create a gazillion accounts to get the referrals while earning you nothing so there has to be some points gained first.
I did add referrals to the Webminer but I can’t really modify the Adscend code anymore and Wannads sites usually go to Woocommerce or some other output anyways.
Let me know if that works for you.

In reply to: [VidYen Crypto Reward System] Referrals set upHi @voddic
I believe I spoke to you on the Discord, but just in case…
You can set shortcode option to
refer=10
in either the [vyps-pe refer=10] or [vyps-256 refer=10] to give 10% referral reward to the user who entered their referral code for example.Does that answer your question?
The referrals are done there and not the Wannads or Adscend as the person who originally requested it asked me to add it there.
Let me know if that answers your question.

In reply to: [VidYen Crypto Reward System] I may have broke current user logWith version 2.4.2 I have fixed and updated the user logs to new version.
It will not automatically overwrite your old version, but at your convience usenew shortcodes
[vidyen-public-log]
and[vidyen-user-log]
Will be faster SQL wise I believe due to optimization and sorting.
Marking as resolved.

Actually, I just confirmed Hideout.tv (Adscend) still works, but you have to create a list of instructions and get your users to follow to make it happen.
Contact your Adscend rep for what they need to do.
On an aside, I was spying on other rewards sites and it seems none of them use any video offer walls anymore.
They simply do not exist.
Ergo, I really webmining should be the main focus going forward.
I’m not going to rebrand though. VidYen works well enough for mining while watching videos.
Thanks! I got it up and working!

In reply to: [Bitcoin and Altcoin Wallets] Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.Hi Dashed,
No, I don’t have a multi-site install. But I do use Softaculous and have previously cloned the site to a subfolder to do some testing (These day I install to a sub domain and not folder) but deleted the folder a while back before installed this plugin.
So only this site has plugin installed.

In reply to: [Bitcoin and Altcoin Wallets] Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.Allright… I solved this but I think you may want to look at it as might be an issue others will have.
Basically I installed “WPFront User Role Editor” and created a role called Wallet_Warrior and assigned it to all the admins and as it showed up in the list, gave it all capabilities.
That basically resolved the problem as the admins are now also under that role as well.
Some plugins that may have caused this could have been:
WordFence
ProfileGrid
wpForoWhich are fairly common but let me know if you need further information.

In reply to: [Bitcoin and Altcoin Wallets] Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page. And further investigation…
I had an admin account who was also a profile grid participant… I set that role to have full access and lo and behold that admin account can get access, but not the one that is just an admin. Seems like the default admin role is getting nuked some how while the roles listed are fine.
