Issue was resolved by using the backup and saving the permalinks settings twice as well as the polylang string translations as soon as the migration took place. Then used the plugin search and replace (carefully) I have replaced “/wordpress” with nothing and in URL the “felitsia.gr/wordpress” with “felitsia.gr”.
