In reply to: [RSS Post Importer] Importing Doesn't workMulkins, here’s the logic: if you wish to import truncated feeds from a source, all you need to do is add the feeds in the backend, if you wish to import full text rss feeds that are already available as such from your source, it’s the same process, but if you need to import the full text content from truncated feeds or enable the premium features, you might need to upgrade, sometimes, specific feeds failed, so if this is a case for some of your feeds, please shoot an email to [email protected] and I shall get on it asap. Thanks

In reply to: [RSS Post Importer] How the data imported to affect our SEO?You shouldn’t have an issue with that, it turns out to be a Myth. Google/Matt Cutts has addressed that issue in this video and exclusively explained: https://youtu.be/mQZY7EmjbMA , and the gist of the message is: Unless the content is spammy, or you are breaching terms of services etc… it’s not an issue you should stress about. Follow your best SEO practices and if you wish, you can use the canonical tag to point the search engine to the original source, this will/may however lower your own article ranking, so it really depends on what your goal is. Extreme abuse of rss syndication/autoblogging to a website (if all your site is just rss to blogpost syndication) could be viewed as spam and not adding any value, so make sure to add value and have not only syndicated content and also your own content also. I will assume Google will not only analyse a single page but your whole website. Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with, but I hope this could help. Thanks
Thanks for your feedback and I’m really sorry for the experience you had.
The plugin is not yet perfect, we are working on improving it on a daily basis, we are already working on the bugs our users tell us and we should be releasing fixes with the next version. There’s a premium version of the plugin , the Free version works perfectly with the features a normal users need but we can not offer our premium features for free or for a fee that can not sustain teh development. The premium version comes with a 14 day free trial, a couple of Onboarding emails during the free trial and an On-boarding email 1 day before getting charged that warns the user of the ending of their free trial and that they can cancel their account or keep it, and if they keep the premium version active, the subscription fee will get charged. So there’s no way someone will get charged without knowing it, it’s also stated when someone register that it is a 14 Days free trial and the fee is charged after the free trial period and if the user doesn’t cancel their account at the free trial and decided to keep the premium version. So, ou should take what some people post with a grain of salt, there’s absolutely no way you can charge someone for a software on Paypal or CC with a fraudulent charge… that is not sustainable for a business, for any business.
Regarding the pricing, oh well. I think a software that saves users several hours of work/day at this price point is extremely cheap… I think the price we are asking for is more than fair, but this is up to any user to decide to upgrade if they can afford the price and the service or keep using the free version, which like I said, works fine and offers more than similar free plugins.
The software is not yet perfect and we are not yet perfect…nobody is, so you can run into a bug and all we ask for is to tell us about the bug to help make the software better.
I normally don’t answer to negative feedback anymore but yours seem genuine and I wanted to address it, I hope I could clarify any confusion or questions you had. Thanks
