    Thanks for the head up Keith, looks like we missed that logic there. Will check and tweak asap.

    Hi, with the normal procedure like for all wordpress plugins: Navigate to the plugins listing, disable the plugin, uninstall the plugin, then to re-install… same conventional workflow: search for the plugin, install and enable it.

    Thanks,
    The Nerd

    PS: Let me know if you need further help

    @orenner , since you have a full text rss key, please send an email to [email protected] (WordPress forbids using the wordpress forum for premium support).

    Meanwhile, here’s what you need to have for your template:

    Template:

    {$title}
    {$content}
    {$permalink}
    Source: {$feed_title}

    {$inline_image} stands for people looking to plot an image somewhere in the content (we are working on more demo videos: It’s a work in progress).

    Thanks,
    The Nerd

    PS: Again, you should follow up via email

    @ambushvin Sorry man, But we’ve been searching our database for 2 days now and we couldn’t find any premium account that contains the word: ambushvin . Meanwhile, we are still investigating the issue.

    Hello Martin,

    Thanks a lot for your kind words. I’m sorry for the delay of my follow up mate, a couple of fellows made it hard for me in the past to want to spend my time helping folks here, so I had to take a break.

    I have to admit, the documentation could get better and the good news is, it WILL get better, meanwhile, you can achieve what you are asking for with the template parameter:

    {$excerpt:n} , where n stands for the number of words of your excerpt , so if your excerpt should have 100 words, your parameter setting would be something like: {$excerpt:100} , that parameter should replace the parameter {$content} since the content parameter stands for full article content, I hope this helped. Please, feel free to drop a note here and share how it goes. Thanks

    Samuel,

    Thanks a bunch for jumping in to help. Opeedo, like Samuel said, the issue is not releated to RSS PI but to the original source /or some other plugin you are using.

    The easiest way to fix this would be to use another plugin that support the operation: Find and Replace on posts before they get published and after they went through your SEO plugin, there are a couple of good one around but I haven’t personally tested any of them , so I can’t vouch for any or give you a recommendation.

    I will suggest you test a couple of them to find out what works best, hoping my suggestion helps. Thanks

    Ryan,

    Thanks a bunch for the detailled description, we will review and fix this, we may return to the old robust duplicate post logic that has a small dis-advantage but at least it was robust and worked like a swiss watch with no false-positives. Stay tuned and thanks again for the details and the sample feed, I will keep you posted n this thread

    Hello Ambushvin,

    Sorry for the inconvenience, the duplicate post issue was related to the change in our duplicate post protection logic, teh new one has a flaw for specific feeds coming from 1 specific source , due to the structure of those feeds.

    1. Would you please share the feeds you are getting duplicated post from ?
    2. Being a premium user , Would you please share the first part of the email you used to create your premium account ? Not the domain name but the first part, so I can check your account and see what’s going on, this is releated to:

      I REALLY love this plug-in but I don’t want to keep paying every month to have this same problem!

    3. Would you please make sure you are running the most recent version of the plugin !? Which version are you running, the previous duplicated issue was fixed several months ago, and like I said, it was an issue exclusively related to one type of feeds from a specific source due the way their feed structure was built.

    Thank you very much, eagerly looking forward to your reply.

    Best,
    The Nerd
