In addition I would like to ask if there is a way to delete the imported posts as soon as they disappear from the RSS list.

There’s no way to set expiration date for posts with this plugin, please look for an additional plugin specialized in this task.

There’s a parameter to link back to the original source and it’s called {$permalink} but not yet a function to link directly to the original, it’s however something on our roadmap and we should have it implemented soon.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience and the frustrating experience, we’re at fault and are working hard to figure out what the issue is for some of our users, our support channel is a bit overload at the moment and we’re working on growing the team, thanks for your patience. Let’s say Charley has been extremely busy in the last couple of months and couldn’t really respond to emails in the last couple of weeks, so sorry for the delay of our follow ups, like I said, we’re working on a solution. We’re still far from our goals and from where we want to take this project, we give our best for you guys and sometime we make a bunch of mistakes, sometime offline life kicks in between with new parameters and we keep learning from those mistakes. Looks like a server setting and maybe folder permission issue, sorry but there’s nothing I can say from the outside without taking a closer look into your backend , I’m afraid I can’t do much than to advise to hire an expert to check your setup.
