I have noticed that it does take away from my tweet and that Twitter doesn’t shorten my URL to 23 characters, but 48 –> https://twitter.com/FMAbookreviews/status/755734345831153664
@jeremy Herve Thanks! Just sent it!
@jeremy Herve I wanted to thank Support for helping over the last several days. They fixed the many issues related to my site and Jetpack!
I have only a few remaining questions…
1. During the transfer to a self hosted site, it seems the blog followers did not transfer, is there a way to recover those?
2. I followed instructions for transferring email followers via Jetpack, it would appear those did not get transferred either. Again, is there away to recover those?
I am sure these two issues are related to the problems we had before. Also, I am still unable to publicize, will this be fixed with the update?
@jeremy Herve I have two open “tickets” with support, I haven’t heard from them, which is why I chose to come to this forum. I did post my URL here earlier. I will be offline for the next couple of hours, but will check back later this evening.
Thank you!
NOPE! It’s back again!
Thank you, Jeremy! I just did it a second time, and this time, it seems to have taken the error message from the top of my dashboard. The question remains, will the fix the problem with publicizing and email messages not being sent via Jetpack?
I did as you suggested, disconnected and then reconnected and I am still getting the same error message
Something has gotten mixed up!
Your siteurl option is set up as https://feedingmyaddictionbookreviews.bookblog.io, but your WordPress.com connection lists it as https://feedingmyaddictionbookreviews.com!
The data listed above is not for my current site. Please disconnect, and then form a new connection to WordPress.com for this site using my current settings.
Ignore the difference. This is just a staging site for the real site referenced above.
That used to be my URL for this site before I changed it. Update the WordPress.com Cloud’s data to match my current settings.I am having the same issues. I was unable to click on any of the options presented. After several hours, I was able to disconnect, by clicking option one, but was never able to reconnect and instead was given this error…
You do not have sufficient permissions to install plugins on this site.
Even though I know it is still connected to some degree because it is still on my side admin bar and shows in sharing on my posts, it just doesn’t allow for publicizing or email distribution.
I cannot figure out what to do from here.
