It’s up to you if you want to use it or not.

of course, there are advantage in using it as it will automatically find all images for you from your content, generate video thumbnails and “video embed codes” from youtube, vimeo.

If you just let Facebook scan all the thumbnails on your site, it could fetch your banners, images in sidebars, header, footer, etc.

I just tried on my localhost with a genesis child themes and it doesn’t mangled the header…

Maybe its not my plugin causing it,
or a combination of another plugin is causing the issue?

I just uploaded v1.15.6, wait a while and update your WP,
then go to settings and check the meta-description and save.

I checked on a test site of mine and I think it works if I uncheck “Embed youtube videos”. did you tried that already?

Looks like the og:url issue is fixed now and I can see the 3 thumbnails in fb debugger now. Final thing to do is clear/empty your cache.

Wait a bit for 15mins so you can update to it

After updating
visit settings/FB Thumbnail and uncheck meta og:url there.

then let me know when you have done this

from the plugin list, I think jetpack and wordpress SEO is the one messing up your meta tags.
can you find if there are checkboxes to toggle meta tags?
